All Fast Frames hoops are designed to be used with peal and stick backing. They are one piece laser cut to precise dimensions where as the size of the hoop described will be your actual sew field. 
 
Add-on hoops are designed to be used with a Fast Frames Arm that secures in your machine like any regular hoop.
